Some studies show that the news of global warming is not all bad for farming, at least not in the short run. While humans have changed many environmental factors by their activities, the short term effects of these changes often lead to better crops.

Higher temperatures can bring problems in other areas. In regions that are already warm, global warming will cause the plants to languish in the heat. Soil evaporation rates will be very high, leaving very dry earth. Add to that, droughts that will make both the soil and the air dry and might even lead to burning of some crops.

There have always been many obstacles to farming. Global warming just makes them more intense. Now, it is even more likely that a farmer will face droughts, floods, heat waves, and hurricanes, to name a few. They will be harder to overcome than ever before and they will certainly be less rare.

Health concerns related to global warming

The rise in temperatures caused by global warming, are common in parts of the American Southwest, for example. People are well-equipped to deal with the heat because that is the climate zone they are living in. However, Europe is usually much cooler. Residents there were not ready for such temperatures. Over 35,000 people died in Europe as a result of the heat waves that year. Global warming had changed their habitat, so to speak.

People are also left with messes to clean up after floods. This can result in exposure to high levels of mold. Many people will have intense allergic reactions to mold. The person can have hives all over the body. Sometimes, the tongue will swell and cut off breathing. It is a serious condition.

Curtailing global warming would lessen the incidence of flooding and prevent this many times. Since global warming can have an affect on the food supply, it is obvious that people can suffer from malnutrition because of this. This is especially true in agrarian societies in underdeveloped countries.

Is Global Warming real? Well some people believe Global Warming is a lot of hot air and others will have you to believe the sky is caving in tomorrow. We all know of the doom and gloom predictions of Global Warming and Climate Change with higher sea levels, massive storms and it all sounds like a lot of trouble we will possibly be in ?

Indeed some Global Warming theorists think it is too late to stop the effects of man on our atmosphere and that these adverse effects will cause the triggering of these massive storms, freak weather and catastrophic situations. In order to control and avoid the effects of global warming we must first be in agreement with a fact that it is occurring, and take some action to end or even reduce it. I don’t necessarily believe that mankind’s actions are causing the planet to warm, as it appears to warm and cool all by itself over periods of hundreds and thousands of years due to all sorts of interconnected cycles. I mean just ask yourself,why was there an iceage a few thousand years ago ? Did we cause that ? and the answer is of course no.But the alartmists like Al Gore will have you believe otherwise.
We cannot say for sure how much the planet may be warming, how much is due to human activities versus natural cycles, or whether these changes in global temperature would be mostly good or mostly bad for the majority of people. Right now we have a government that has done nothing effective about global warming and doesn’t listen to the people anyway. And we also can't say without total conviction that all this fuss is true or not because in my native New Zealand the warmist year on record over the last 100 years was actually 1998 ! So Al Gore whats your inconvenient truth telling me here ? Nothing at all.I liken Gore to a master magican in many ways because he has pulled the wool over the eyes of the globe and is trying to shut down the debate and say the science is conclusive.Only an absolute fool or idiot would say this because as we all know science is ever evolving and changing .It always has and it always will and Gore knows this but stands to take millions of your money so why would he tell the truth.
Luckily most of the Global Warming theories are not based on very solid scientific proff, but our Planet is going through a climate change cycle and this cycle, which is being caused by a series of inter-related cycles are warming areas of our Planet among other things. There is no convincing scientific proof that global warming is caused by anything other than ordinary, natural climatic cycles.

The current debate on global warming isn’t so much whether it exists, as it is what is natural and what is not. If man did not exist on Planet Earth, would global warming exist? Maybe if we all had a clearer understanding about the effects on our daily lives, we would try to do more about global warming.

Receding glaciers, rising sea levels, dying coral reefs, migrating plants and animals, reduced daily temperature fluctuations, and more pronounced and frequent "extreme precipitation events” (a large amount of precipitation in a short amount of time) are all suggested by today’s climate models as a consequence of global warming. The effects of global warming are accelerated and heightened by war. Should we be worried, as an escalating Middle-East war, even where not yet fought over energy or water, may give us an even shorter time than we have already to marshal resources to deal with the great threat of global warming.

So rather than beating my head against the Global Warming Theorists Walls, I would rather use them to serve my will to beef up our civilizations information to withstand and/or adapt to, without disturbing any sudden change, whether from a man-made caused or Mother Nature.
